Back from sunny Costa Rica (it rained almost the entire time), helping teach the world’s second ever international #CricketCourse… that I know of. Apparently my lawn whites were not necessary in the end… 🏏🤦🏽 Learned a lot and great wildlife to boot! #fieldcourse @uniofstandrews.bsky.social
Two papers taped to a window. On the top paper you can see the tracing of a large cricket (Glaphyrosoma stephanosoltis) and on the lower you can see a large rhinoceros katydid (Copiphora rhinoceros)
Working up a sticker / tshirt design for #CricketCourse because I don't want it to be over yet. I had the absolute best time 🥰
Yesterday we went to Pocosol and I saw soooo many good bugs. I also a) fell into a volcanic crater turned lagoon and had to get dragged out and b) had my hair catch on fire from my headlamp. Wild times going on at #CricketCourse

Really enjoying #CricketCourse here in Costa Rica. SO excited to be spending time with so many fellow insect enthusiasts in such a beautiful place
Camera flipped and it’s me, @beetlequeen.bsky.social and @arthropodabbey.bsky.social on the other side!
