It's #InternationalWomensDay and Covid #DayofReflection today. My adult niece was a victim of the pandemic in the cruellest way (suicide) and I've been made very aware recently of a bias against women in diagnosis & treatment of Long Covid. Still a long way to go on #Equality.

Today is the annual Covid-19 #DayOfReflection. 6 years have passed since the start of the pandemic. We reflect today, alongside our community, on the people who lost their lives to Covid-19; the people who still face day-to-day impacts; and on the road ahead.

Today is National Covid #DayOfReflection. By mid 2022, when society decided that "Covid is over" 180,000 people had died of Covid in the UK. Late last year, this number passed 250,000, it keeps growing. Today,as we remember each of these lives, we should also ask why lives are not protected now.

Today on Covid #DayofReflection we remember those who lost their lives during the pandemic, and who still continue to suffer the consequences.

These are not just numbers, they are our friends, our families, our neighbours and our colleagues. (1/3)

The booing was disrespectful and disgusting. Shameless partisan comments from sections of the community contributed to the response to the PM. At the event, David Ossip made a pitch for Liberal pre-selection, reminiscent of a political rally. Disappointing for a so-called #DayOfReflection ceremony.

That explains everything. A political event for young David, not a #DayOfReflection! #Bondi #YoungLiberals

So sad that Reflection Day at Bondi turned into a political rally. Thankfully Sam Mostyn brings it back on track. #Bondi #DayOfReflection
