Shouldn't we be very concerned about how easily and quickly people feel compelled to fix their personal identity to one of the sides in a conflict, whether it is political, commercial, legal or cultural, rather than retain a more independent and open minded identity?

The History I was taught was 'Bad History', in the sense that it was nearly all about conflict & power,

it has helped to maintain the continuing acceptance of a power-games culture in #politics.

Narratives & Histories can bring out one or more perspectives (which may be sound or not) of lives or events, but I have never discovered a narrative or history that expresses fully the complex reality of lives or events.

The "Thinking Methods" we use play an important part in how and what we think. If we are only aware of one or a few thinking methods, doesn't it limit our range of thinking.
