Schau dir mal #deltachat an. Kostenlos, kein Log in nötig du kannst einen Namen eigenen & ein Profilbild auswählen fertig, die App greift nicht auf deine Kontakte zu, die App ist dezentralisiert & hat eine End zu end Verbindung. Bei Freunden kommt es besser an als zB Threema.

Ah, interessant. Gerade vergeblich versucht, in #DeltaChat eine 85 MB große Datei zu versenden. Dürfte eine Designschwäche sein, da E-Mail ja dasselbe Problem hat. Das schränkt den Nutzen der App schon etwas ein.
