I spent a lot of time trying to recover some archive CD. The problem: OS X recognises de format, but cannot handle the images, I have a Basilisk2 with system which does not recognise the CD. The CD contains a tool to handle the images, which OS X cannot run. #retrocomputing #classicmac #Diskimage

A macOS installer window titled “Comet Installer” fills the screen. In the center of the window is the Comet logo, a stylized series of curved lines forming a tail or wave shape, followed by the word “comet” in lowercase letters. Below it, in large serif type, the phrase “Browse with intelligence” appears, and a smaller sans-serif caption reads “To install, drag Comet into your Applications folder.” At the bottom half of the window, the Comet application icon—a rounded square with the same teal wave logo on a light background—is positioned on the left, and a standard blue macOS Applications folder icon with the stylized “A” symbol sits on the right. A curved arrow points from the Comet icon toward the Applications folder, indicating the drag-and-drop installation action. Behind these elements a subtle dotted grid pattern covers the off-white background, and a bold teal wave graphic extends upward from the lower edge, reinforcing the Comet brand’s curved-line motif.
Oh hey, nice #DiskImage for Perplexity Comet! ☄️
