And SO MANY people drew birds! All kinds of birds! Some were cartoony and some were realistic. Some were detailed and some were simple. Some were skilled and some were *ahem* amateur.

Beibeilong Neuwirth, doing the nearest I can get to a Fosse pose with my amateur knowledge of caenagnathid dinosaur anatomy. Cimmeria was obviously the fleshpot of the Jurassic jazz age (there are only so many paleocontinents...!)

Some of the famous dinosaurs that visit 'Dinosaur Dell': Albertonectes Einstein, Sylvia Plateosaurus, Charonosaurus Carpenter, Genusaurus Kelly, Ma-Dino (a Microraptor), Muhammad Alioramus, Anabisetia Pavlova, and Adam Lambeosaurus (details from a much larger drawing!)

Yesterday, I joined in @gregpak.net's #DrawABird, as an FU to AI, with an archaeopteryx from my 'Dinosaur Dell' series. Because she liked it (and because she's fabulous), here's a @bebeneuwirth.bsky.social #bird -like #dinosaur (Beibeilong, of course), along with some other famous dinosaurs!

A light blue bird with menacing eyes, feather stubble and tiny hairs sticking out of the top of its head opens its beak to reveal a concerning amount of sharp teeth. A speech bubble coming out of its mouth says, "Bird."
