Why did you choose your Fediverse Instance, does it have a bigger meaning than it was a bigger instance or was it for a certain reason? Did you have to be on your instance you chose?

Dear #mastodon power-users: Is there a way in the "advanced web interface" to hide those "hide" and "alt" buttons? Or just to move them *away* from the image? I find it a really poor design choice this already tiny image content by active buttons.

a friend of mine would like to join the fedi. he'd like to post drawing he does and prefers an "imageboard" UI, so i advised him to go to a pixelfed instance.
