#firstdayofclass for me yesterday — I’m teaching two sections of #grantwriting for grad students. I’m glad to be back in the classroom again after some time in #academicaffairs admin, and teaching #grantsmanship skills is such fun. I love seeing students figure out how to advocate for their ideas.

1. They’ve always called themselves feminists but they want to explore more about what that means;
2. They want talking points/verbal ammunition to better be able to respond to patriarchal nonsense.

I mean BEST REASONS EVER. This is going to be a fun semester. #firstdayofclass #teachingismyactivism
