Formula 1'in 'altyapı takımı' Türk pilotu transfer etti Geçen yıl Prema'nın karting takımında yarışan 15 yaşındaki sürücü, Formula 1 pilotları Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri, Pierre Gasly, Valteri Bottas, Mick Schumacher, Kimi Antonelli, Ollie Bearman, Esteban Ocon, Logan Sargeant, Antonio Giovinazzi, Lance Stroll ve Nicholas Latifi'nin yetiştiği Prema ile 1+1 yıllık anlaşma imzaladı. Uzun bir test sürecinin ardından takıma dahil edilen Alp Aksoy, 1+1 yıllık sözleşme imzaladığı Prema adına Formula 4'te mücadele edecek. Alp için Prema'nın İtalya'nın Vicenza şehrinde bulunan fabrikasında tanıtım toplantısı düzenlendi. Toplantıya Alp Aksoy'un yanı sıra takımın kurucusu Angelo Rosin ile Alp'in antrenörü Emir Kalafatoğlu katıldı. Toplantıda açıklamalarda bulunan Alp Aksoy, kısa ve uzun vadeli planları olduğunu aktararak, "Kısa vadeli hedefim 2026'da Formula 4'te şampiyon olmak. Uzun vadede ise 2030'da Formula 1'de yarışan ilk Türk pilot olmayı hedefliyorum. Bunun için çok çalışıyorum. Bu hedefimi başaracağıma inanıyorum." dedi. Baskı altında mücadele etmeye alışık olduğuna değinen 15 yaşındaki pilot, "Baskı altında sakin kalmaya ve en doğru kararı vermeye çalışıyorum. Bunları yapınca her şey olumlu ilerliyor." diye konuştu. Çok iyi bir takıma katıldığını belirten genç sporcu, "Prema, dünyanın en iyi Formula 2, Formula 3 ve Formula 4 takımlarından biri. Özellikle mühendislerle çok fazla vakit geçiriyoruz. Onlara geri bildirimlerde bulunuyorum. Onlar da aracı bana göre ayarlamaya çalışıyor. Ayrıca simülatörde çok ciddi zaman harcayarak çalışıyoruz." ifadelerini kullandı. "BÖYLE GENÇLER KOLAY BULUNMUYOR" Prema Racing takımının kurucusu Angelo Rosin, Alp gibi genç sporcuların zor bulunduğunu dile getirdi. Yaklaşık 40 yılı geçen tarihinde birçok önemli otomobil sporcusunun yetiştiği takımın kurucusu Rosin, "Kartingden Formula 4'e geçmek göründüğü kadar basit bir şey değil. İki organizasyon arasında önemli bir fark var. Çalıştırdığım pilotları her anlamda hazırlamaya özen gösteriyorum." şeklinde görüş belirtti. Alp hakkında övgü dolu sözler sarf eden Rosin, "Alp'i çok hızlı ve etkili buluyorum. Günümüzde gençlerin bu tip karakteristik özelliklere sahip olması kolay değil. Böyle gençler kolay bulunmuyor." değerlendirmesinde bulundu. Prema'nın pilot seçimine çok dikkat ettiğini belirten Rosin, "Pilot seçimi sadece benim yaptığım bir iş değil. Mühendislerimizden de destek alıyoruz. Genç pilotları keşfetme aşamasında onların yaklaşımı ve mantalitesinin de değerlendiriyoruz. Aynı zamanda yeteneklerini de göz önünde bulunduruyoruz." diye konuştu. "20 PİLOTUN 7'SİNİ PREMA YETİŞTİRDİ" Eski milli sporcu ve Alp Aksoy'un antrenörü Emir Kalafatoğlu, Prema'nın Formula 1'de yarışan 20 pilotun 7'sini yetiştiren takım olduğunu vurguladı. Prema bu sebeple "Formula 1'in altyapı takımı" olarak da anılıyor. İtalyan takımına girmenin kolay olmadığını aktaran Kalafatoğlu, şunları kaydetti: "Son 8 yıldır Alp'in antrenörlüğünü yapıyorum. Alp ile 7 yaşından itibaren çalışmaya başladık. Birlikte çok fazla vakit geçirdik. Aramızda bir antrenör-sporcu ilişkisinden çok ağabey-kardeş ilişkisi var. Alp'in kariyer planını çizerken Türkiye'de daha önce yapılmamış, vizyoner bir bakış açısı geliştirdik. Kolayca kupa kazanabileceğimiz serilerde değil, en zor organizasyonlarda yarışmasını istedim. Alp inanılmaz bir başarıya imza atarak yarıştığı her kategoride podyuma çıkmayı başardı. Geçen yıl, Prema Racing'in karting takımında yarıştık. Buradan doğrudan geçiş yapmadık. Oldukça zorlu bir kabul sürecinden geçtik. Prema, bizi 4 gün, 8 farklı pistte test etti. Bunun yanı sıra mental ve simülatör testleri, pistte ve pist dışında davranış testlerine tabi tuttu. Alp bunların hepsini başarıyla geçerek kontrata adını yazdırmayı başardı. Prema Racing, şu anda Formula 1'deki 20 pilotun 7'sini yetiştiren takım. Yani emin ellerdeyiz, doğru adımları atıyoruz. Bugün burada oturmamız doğru işleri başardığımız anlamına geliyor. Şimdi sorumluluklarımız ve hedeflerimiz çok daha büyük. O yüzden daha çok çalışacağız. Alp'in karakteri, yeteneği ve çalışkanlığıyla büyük başarılar elde edeceğine eminim. Alp artık benim değil hepimizin pilotu. Türkiye'nin Formula pilotu." Kalafatoğlu, 2025-2026 sezonunda Formula 4'te dört farklı seride mücadele edeceklerini dile getirerek, "2025 ve 2026 yılında 4 farklı seride mücadele edeceğiz. Sezonumuz 2 hafta sonra başlıyor. İkinci serimiz ocak ayında başlayacak. Ana serimiz 2026 İtalya Formula 4 şampiyonası. Bu şampiyona da Formula 4 şampiyonaları arasındaki en zor organizasyon." diye konuştu. Emir Kalafatoğlu, Prema ile yapılan anlaşma ve hedefleriyle ilgili, "Sözleşmemiz 1+1 şeklinde. Formula 4'te 1 sene yarışacağız. Daha sonrasında iki taraflı memnuniyet durumunda uzatabiliriz. Hedeflerimiz çok büyük. Formula 4'te şampiyon olup Formula 3'e geçmek istiyoruz. 2027'de İstanbul Park'ta İstiklal Marşı'mızı okutmak istiyoruz." diyerek sözlerini tamamladı.
