In Ireland we struggle with most of the same issues as the UK, but in spite of the challenges we are still proactive and prevailing. Standards are often physiologist-led and we are a very passionate and progressive group of staff despite the challenges we face. Patient outcomes are at the core of our motivation and this is obvious in every department, with teams going above and beyond daily for their patients.
