A 3D printed and glued together part of the computer space arcade cabinet. The top is still missing. Some pieces are clamped or taped together at the moment. One small (in comparison) corner in the front is missing. Angry yellow post-it stating that it is fragile. (I had someone knock of the layer that goes on next before) A tiny model of the cabinet is standing in the background.

I've made some significant progress yesterday!
However, I've discovered that
a) one piece is missing
b) I don't trust superglue
c) the individual layers slightly warped while curing
d) I really would have loved registration marks or holes for pegs etc.

Before: mismatched colors and materials for the three pads (beige for the elbow, dark green for the hands). This was two weeks ago, in the meantime the elbow pad was not only sheddings, but ripped and spillings its filling that looked like kitchen towels.

After: all the pads are now in red pleather (which is the color seen ingame) and the elbow pad received new cushoning.

I've spend my evening yesterday with renewing the pads of our Arm Champs II at HiScore. Now they are finally back close to the original color. It was interesting to see hiw many times they have already been fixed over the years (at least 4 times according […]
