We're still young as a species.
We display many signs of immaturity, but can still grow up!
Human history is undeniably horrendous, but we shouldn’t assume that’s just the way we are and just the way it is.

Trying to solve countless surface level problems feels overwhelming & impossible, but these problems can dissolve away as we dig deeper to address core issues that cause them:

It takes a second to smash a window, or fine violin, which took years of careful craftsmanship to create.
Yet we have all these things intact!
We obviously want to make a world that works more than we want to destroy it all.

Reason for #HopeInHumanity 1- Faster & Easier to destroy than build, yet we’ve built so much! If we gave our destructive impulses even a fraction of the energy we give our constructive ones, EVERYTHING would be broken around us. Society works AT ALL= Our "good" is stronger than "bad."
