Hungerstone by Kat Dunn, a book review

Gothic Historical Fiction Four stars Available as a book, e-book, and audiobook Summary Lenore worked hard to earn her station as the wife of a lauded steel magnate, and she even thought they loved each other. She begins to question his loyalty when they move to Nethershore manor and they take in a guest after a carriage accident: the beautiful and enigmatic Carmilla. But soon, servants and village people begin to fall sick with a grisly hunger just as Lenore grows sicker and sicker. Lenore feels pulled between her duty to her husband and the hunger that Carmilla has ignited in her.
