With a 12-horsepower engine driving two pusher propellers, the #WrightBrothers in 1903 on #ThisDayInHistory may have made the first powered flight. At #KittyHawk, NC, their #WrightFlier biplane got airborne briefly, but was highly unstable and was wrecked on their fourth attempt.
