Albert's design here has little change from his time at the Academy as even then it was distinctive. The reason for it is his cardigan vest, a shorthand sign for both pompousness and intellect. He prides himself in his elegance and his heritage. The additions are the golden joints of the armor and the engraving along its plates, as well as the crimson side cape. This way, he completes the look of a nobleman while also remaining a sorcerer of the Academy.
Albert's face humorously resembles Jerma's, but that's not what I'm pointing out. His blue eyes are more a teal than a sky blue, the slight green makes his color scheme that little bit more distinctive. In general, his long, slim face help keep him looking rather pompous, but his behavior has really mellowed out since he was in the Academy. He's apologized enough.
Albert's Perpetual Motion Machine is a clever little workaround for what is essentially a disability for someone enlisting in the Academy. He takes the electricity he can channel and makes a circuit such that he recycles his own energy. His thesis statement was less about making up for a genetic shortcoming and more about the efficiency it would provide as a whole - knowing migraines are a side effect of overusing Lightning, this could effectively be a remedy for those prone to migraines to begin with. Not bad for the unwanted scion of House Bredahl - and he is right to cast off the previous mindset he once parroted himself. In the end, a dead master of the art is worth little. Keep yourself alive, and perhaps you, too, can contribute to greatness. It'll cost all your time and money, But honey, you'll survive.
His color scheme is earthy and grounded, keeping the regal loom without relying on blue or purple. In a way, it helps him feel like an outcast while still remaining in the role he's playing. That and his damascus pattern blades are quite eye-catching. Perhaps a way to make his blades more conductive - a way to recreate the generational excellence of the Exsanguinator? Perhaps.
