Major Infrastructure Projects Underway Across Afghanistan KABUL, Jan 9 (NNN-BNA) – Eight major infrastructure projects, valued at over 205 million afghanis (approximately 3.15 million U.S. dollars), are currently underway in northern Afghanistan’s Baghlan province. The projects include the concreting of 13.5 km of roads, and the construction of three commercial markets, aimed at boosting local trade and connectivity, the report said. Meanwhile, a 16-km road rehabilitation project, connecting western Ghor to Herat province, has been completed.
