Yeah, errm… as it happens, that IP address *is* for a mail server, and has been a mail server for about 14 years.

Postfix has supported ECDSA certificates for over 16 years ago. EXIM and Sendmail have (technically) supported them for 20 years. MS Exchange only started supporting ECDSA certificates very recently, but all the versions that do not support them are now EOL.

At the moment, I’m using exclusively ECDSA certificates for my SMTP servers. Is it really worth the trouble of running “dual-stack” RSA/ECDSA certificates? It would be a right pain managing the lifecycles along with key rollover for DANE TLS.

If @spamhaus incorrectly marks a mail server as a spammer, then the process is clear.
But what do you do if the mail server is incorrectly marked as an "open resolver" and you therefore cannot query DNSBLs? 😂
