First basic running test with the 9F today, just to make sure all the connections are good and track spaced. I dont normally run them this fast but good to test for de-railments. Very happy with the results. Got plenty more bits to do yet but progress!😁

The short hood is built and fitted to my GP9. It was a real challenge getting the angles sorted and it's not 100%, but I'm reasonably happy. I've also fitted a speaker mount in the cab - not sure whether I'll keep it. #hoscale #modelrailway #modeltrains #kitbash #187scale #bsmrguk

I fancy myself as a connoisseur of prewar O gauge trains. And I have some scale models with better sound and details. But the 2 locos I enjoy running the most are this Texas Special F3 from 1999 and 2065 Hudson from 1954. They have so much character to them.
