#OLTL 96. Asa letting Max in on the ruse/secret about him faking it is great - even greater is Asa being an asshole about Wingate Holden as they argue. This is what's missing from 2000/2001 imo. I don't need this blind devotion from Max to Asa, they're so much better when they're at odds.

#OLTL 96. I really do hate 1996 a lot BUT - as I zip through a week's worth of episodes in a hour - there's a decent amount on paper that works. Cord taking over Buchanan Enterprises? Sure. Bukes/Lords v. Cramers? Hell yes, always. Patrick/Marty and Antonio/Andy pining? Classic soap.

#OLTL Mar 01. Not that these events were juxtaposed in the same episode or anything but I really question the timing of having Max drug Blair (with a 'gee, ain't I funny' kind of tone) to ruin her wedding compared with the sinister, terrifying way that Colin is drugging Nora in this ep. Not great.

#OLTL Mar 01. I actually don't think Erika Page is that bad as Roseanne. She's very good in this little Colin arc to show Roseanne's desperation. This is really just a case of not having a tie to the canvas with Tea gone and the writers just trying way too many stories to make something stick.
