The studio wall is filled with printed posters 8 across and in 4 rows. Each poster is a colorful mix of polkadots, checks, and stripes. These papers were printed when we printed the shirts, and then each paper cut up in 15 squares. We then made paper quilts with them by using all the printed squares and putting them back together with an archival tape on the back. They are then overprinted by letterpress using old mix matched wood type, in a red ink. It says: Work Shirts Reworked: a Reprint Project by Michelle Freedman and Charlotte Flory for Portland Textile month 2023” On the table in the foreground of the wall of posters is a pile of printing inks and palette knives.
