These houses in Hale (south Mcr) were built post WW2 to address the housing shortage at the time. Still standing they were known as 'prefabs' and meant to last about 10 years. This particular 'model' is the Tarran bungalow and each is a little piece of UK social history #prefabs #socialhistory
