Lilbits: Zinwa’s Android-powered BlackBerry Key2 clone, Razer’s laptop sleeve with wireless charging, and Android 17 Beta 2 A small Chinese team called Zinwa have been making modern BlackBerry-style smartphones in small batches for a little while... first by literally stuffing the actual shells of old BlackBerry phones with modern motherboards running Android software, and more recently by developing new phones with designs that are heavily influenced by BlackBerry. Now Zinwa has shared a teaser for an upcoming model that will be the most powerful to date, thanks to a flagship-class MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor.

Lilbits: Google breathes (a little) more life into the Pixel Tablet The Google Pixel Tablet launched in mid-2023 as an Android tablet that you could also use as a smart display when paired with a speaker dock. With an 11 inch, 2.5K display, stylus support, and the same Google Tensor G2 processor used in the Pixel 7 smartphone lineup, it could have paved the way for things to come. But Google hasn't released a new model in more than two and a half years.

CM5 MINIMA is a tiny $65 Raspberry Pi CM5 carrier board with M.2, Ethernet, and HDMI The credit card-sized Raspberry Pi Model B line of computers may be small, at just 85 x 56mm. But the Raspberry Compute Module 5 is even smaller, measuring just 55 x 40mm. Unfortunately this tiny computer-on-a-module isn't much use on its own, because it lacks the full-sized ports you'd need to connect a power source, display, keyboard, or other peripherals.

Argon ONE UP is modular laptop powered by a Raspberry Pi CM5 The makers of the Argon ONE line of accessories for Raspberry Pi computers have built a business around designing cases that add or change some key functions of the little computers by, for example, moving all of the ports to one side. But the upcoming Argon ONE UP takes things to the next level. It's a laptop computer that uses a Raspberry Pi 5 Compute Module for brains, which makes it a more modular, customizable laptop than most.
