Strangely enough, my elderly mother loved the series before she died. I have no idea why, but I’m partial to a few #RedDwarf repeats too.

Day 14: Dave Lister, #RedDwarf. My parents taped a few episodes of this on PBS for me as a teen. Dave was a slob, yes, but he was also a philosopher and the moral conscience of the show. And funny as fuck.

Anyone else think that #RedDwarf is potentially the pinnacle of sci-fi comedy? I know humour is subjective and the later TV seasons weren't as funny, but the books based on the series still makes me giggle out loud when I read 'em 😄💯
