1/2 Why there needs to be accountability & #RightToDelete for data.

I received SMS text & phone msgs from @libertymutual.com for someone named Miguel, saying their quote was ready. I msged back, wrong number, please DELETE my phone number from your records. They text back "you're unsubscribed".

An error message on Facebook's data deletion backend: Something went wrong. Please try again.

Generic error messages on operations they're legally required to provide users (I'm a Californian, so I have a #rightToDelete), especially on platforms of this size, should be illegal.
