left Finger Lake just over 3 hours ago and is on her way to Puntilla (Rainy Pass). She's averaging just over 35 miles/day so far!

Finger Lake is about a third of the elevation of Rainy Pass, just past the Puntilla CP at mile 153 so a lot of climbing today and tomorrow...and the next day #RushTheITI

Morning #RushTheITI update: When I said that @lrushfeldt.bsky.social could reach Finger Lake by last night, I wasn't taking into account the hills involved! She's now at mile 108, about 15 miles from the CP.

#RushTheITI update: @lrushfeldt.bsky.social rested overnight on the Yentna River. She's currently 82 miles in, approaching the town of Swentna, and she's about 40 miles away from her next checkpoint at Finger Lake. If she pushes through, she might make it there late tonight.

#RushTheITI update: Laura continued past the checkpoint and took a 5-hour rest about ten miles later. She's now back on the move, heading towards Hooligan's Retreat.

A little over six hours in and @lrushfeldt.bsky.social looks really strong at ~25 miles, just two miles away from the Butterfly Lake Checkpoint. My money is on her spending the evening there (it's another 45 mi to the next checkpoint) but we'll see! #RushTheITI
