Also another example of an adaptation that was varied was the famous 90s #SF2 Kanzaki manga. You had anime antics with pervy Honda or oblivious Ryu & then a more tragic take on Guile's origin where he has to kill Charlie due to the brainwashing drug, doll. I'd love another go at a tv series!
