The dipping pond at Cosmeston this morning was full of Toads, slithering and sliding, mating and producing their thousands of long strings of eggs. No sign of any frogs yet though. #SpringHasSprung

Redbud blooms against the dark blue sky. They aren't red at all, more of a pink leaning towards purple color, but hey, I didn't name it! 🤷♀️
Redbuds line a silvery-grey, slender branch, with a tree trunk filling the background. There's an upside-down bee clinging to a bloom; it just landed & is preparing to climb inside the flower.
More blooms, with another bee doing bee things. Its wings are a light tan.
A sun dappled scene of a small woods. A large trunk leans through the image from the bottom right upwards towards the left. Crossing it are a few branches filled with pink-lavender blooms. Unseen, but heard, are many bees, and the wind which is blowing hard today.
Redbud season has arrived!
I saw them yesterday, but didn't have time to stop & admire them until today. These were full of bees and it's such a joy to see them. 🐝

Spring Has Sprung A long corridor of blossoming orchard trees stretches into the distance, their branches arching overhead to form a soft, cloud‑like canopy of white petals. The blossoms are so dense they seem to glow, catching the gentle spring light and diffusing it into a pale, silvery haze. Each tree is wrapped in fresh, vibrant green at its base, where new grass pushes up after winter rains, adding a lush, earthy contrast to the delicate whites above. The air in this scene feels cool and fragrant — a mix of sweet floral perfume and the damp, loamy scent of awakening soil. The repeating rhythm of the trees creates a sense of calm and quiet, as if the orchard itself is breathing slowly. The perspective draws your eye forward through the tunnel of blooms, inviting you to step into the stillness and feel the first true warmth of spring settling across the landscape.
Spring Has Sprung
After a long winter with some very hard rains the local fruit and nut trees start bursting with blossoms in the springtime. I drove out a rural road and a few miles up the road I was greeted with this scene.
