I thought I was done with decals, but remembered I need to do the windows around the silver rim of the saucer. Then just a couple of fixes and touch ups and it will be ready for a clear coat.

So Tamiya Epoxy Putty (Smooth Type) proof of concept. It works to fill the shelf caused by the 1994 kit engineering, & to sculpt the details back in (though as a sculptor I should work hard to keep my day job). Real question: is it worth the time investment?
