Trying to wrap my head (as a simple dev) around the metrics ecosystem.

Seems #RustLang world has some nice tools for exporting stuff to Prometheus and #StatsD; #JVM world lives on DropWizard metrics exporting to #Graphite (Carbon), with no(?) option for StatsD.
