A huge vintage 1990s signed one of a kind handmade mixed metals post-modernist studio craft necklace by American jewelry designer Soufi Arte. An incredible entirely handmade hand fabricated necklace constructed from copper bronze blue glass beads and a single triangular bezel-set pottery shard in the pendant! The pendant measures 3.5" tall by 2.5" wide, and hangs on the also entirely handmade chain measuring 28.5" total length. Can be worn shorter if desired with the hook clasp attached at a shorter length. The chain has three large copper shell-shaped links, and three roughly pear-shaped lapis-blue glass beads, unevenly arranged for dramatic effect. Signed on the attached hang-tag as shown, "Soufi Arte". The artist is American, but I haven't been able to ascertain any further information about her. Altogether a very large and impressive one of a kind wearable art necklace! Excellent vintage condition.
