Victorian Irish crochet thread work in black motifs including coils, roses, a horseshoe, and tassels. The roses are decorated with glass beads and rhinestones. It’s an unfinished work in progress, maybe never to be finished, who knows.

This was something I was doing for a pillow or shadow box, & my sister thought the glass she applied looked like glittering spider’s eyes. 🖤 I have no idea where I put this WIP.

All three of these doilies are size 10 crochet thread. Hooks sizes 1.3mm, 2mm, and 1.5mm respectively.

This is a modified version of “Doily 15 The Sun” by Paulina Papushoi (less points in the star, to put on a 10” hoop). The doily is shaped like a Sun with points emanating outwards as points. There are 11 points. The doily is more like a hoop, because the center is empty and the crochet is the rays; it is attached to a hoop.
