I took a project that was already on the most recent versions of Vite and Vitest and upgraded it to Vite 8/Vitest 4.1 today. It all just worked on the first try. There were a couple of Vite-related plugins in the project and none of them needed updating.

Testing the reworked version of my SVG #Vite plugin with #SvelteKit. It focuses on simpler setup and better DX. Now, whenever I add a new icon to the folder, I just type `<Icon.` and boom, the ready-to-use component shows up in autocomplete.

Holy moly, FINALLY figured out how hot reload wasnt working in vite. Its because of DAMN CIRCULAR DEPS which didnt bubble through as an error because it just tries to handle it. urrrggghhh, but at least I figured it out haha
