#WetRep reporting doesn't seem to apply for other vessels than #tankers and only #laden #tankers with #HeavyFuelOil #HFO or #HeavyCrudeOil 🤷‍♂️

The pink line on this nautical chart only partially alings with the borders of #WetRep. It actually ends at 0° leaving a big gap in the North Sea, which the Peace will use to get to the Baltic. Here's the official chart.

Had nearly forgotten about the enormous additional costs #shadowfleet charterers or owners are willing to take to avoid reporting obligations. For those not familiar with #WetRep - it is the West European Tanker Reporting System, for the region's Particularly Sensitive Sea Area (PSSA).

Absolutely, but it is not clear to me what vessels are doing it and not.
Might be something they are not doing anymore?
Nevertheless the #WetRep reporting requirement is only for laden tankers, so not relevant for ballasted/empty tankers.
