I was no slouch. I could easily get beautiful women, and occasional men, in my bed. I had faith in my appeal. Regardless, I was under no illusion about my looks or my body. For me, my fat was like my brown eyes or my pale skin or the fact that I wasn’t quite 5’5”. I could diet or wear colored contacts or tan or wear high, high heels, but the probable medical damage that would result wasn’t worth it to me.

I've finished the re-read/review/edit of my book and I think I've fixed the problems. This poor book has been written, rewritten, edited, torn up, and put back together. I think it hangs together correctly now.
