Illustration made with traditional media such as pencil, diluted black ink and white ecoline for details. The subjects are the protagonists of a fantasy novel for which I created two commissioned illustrations: a more tragic one for the beginning and the second for the happy ending. This is the most tragic one, with the protagonist tearfully embracing the lifeless and bloody body of his beloved.

Looking at it now after many years I should have left the background completely white to give a brighter and more joyful atmosphere.

I was looking through old commissions I've done, and I really like these 2 illustrations (since the authors are now under a publisher, they're probably not even included in the book anymore)😊 To create them, I used pencil (H and B2) and diluted black ink, one on top of the other:

A few years ago I had fun testing acrylic markers and glitter paint with some of my P4 favs😚🎨✨ I also wanted to make a Yu (cat lover) & Adachi (cat coded) contrast with decorative motifs as well as colors 😂😂😂
