I’m excited to FINALLY share my most intense piece of #beadwork that I made for my cousin as a thank-you for helping me with a few things. They live on a farm and have a brood of chickens and this is their favourite hen, a red ameraucana affectionately named Mothball. It is backed with deerhide.

This was an experimental piece where I was trying to figure out what to make with these iridescent peach glass chips. It's cute, light, and completely one of a kind. The rest of the beads are glass pearls, fire polish Czech glass beads, and Japanese seed beads.
