Bigscreen Beta remains a low-key social VR alternative, but with an uncertain future Bigscreen has long been lauded for its shared virtual theater experience, engendering a small, but dedicated following.

I've been spending more time in #BigscreenBeta lately and wanted to reflect on my experience, especially with its 10-year anniversary in April. It's still a great shared theater experience, with plenty of chat rooms to boot.

this was a fun one to design: a #3dprinted adapter meant for hanging my #BigscreenBeyond on the VRGEVR wall mount that used to hold my #ValveIndex. the two halves are printed with opposite directions for "up" and slot together with a friction fit

Well chat, i got my Bigscreen Beyond VR Headset, and it immediately bricked during the firmware update. I didnt have this thing for 5 minutes before the headset died and the link cable was hot to the touch. Reaching out to them to hopefully resolve this, but man this sucks. #vr #bigscreenbeyond
