#Naptha required to dilute #bitumen is no longer reaching #Venezuela. This likely means it must shift to other methods like #DRUbit to export bitumen via train. As it mostly goes to China it can reach #ChancayPeru or ports in #Ecuador or #Colombia. Only the latter is particularly US-resistant.
I don't doubt there's plenty of research & development going on, but, there's vast fields of carbon in Canada that no one should ever burn, mostly #bitumen for #paving (full of ashphaltenes). Can #CNT production start with that feedstock rather than say carbon monoxide? Any advantages to that?
