The movie was slightly entertaining, but a dated, boring cliché. This book, however, shows in detail how cool the props are. You barely really see any of the stuff in the movie, but they still have such detailed designs. I wish they put in as much work when writing the script...

Can't calculate an amount over 10 million, so I just ran it as 5.1M and added a zero to the total. $146,461,538.50, or just about $150M.

Outside of #BenHur, I'm not sure I've ever seen so many extras onscreen at one time. That's NOT cheap.

Also, if you're curious, #Ishtar had a budget of $51M, which in today's money, would be roughly $150M. So this is like an #Avengers film or #BvS, relative to the era.
