From a field of large to small sized boulders extending well-away from the cliffs & mesa of redrock sandstone uphill, in the distance. The cliff-top horizon is confusingly exactly even with two of the closest boulder tops! And it was ironic for me to see icy cirrus clouds high in the sky! It was 104°F/40°C that day! HOT AND DRY!
