A flowchart of the locations and events towards the end of Descent into Avernus; I accidentally put an event that MUST happen before the Crypt/Citadel/Idyllglen sequence in Elturel, which the party will not visit until afterwards. ... WHOOPS Fortunately, I have (just) enough time to relocate the event to the Wrecked Flying Fortress - Nascius, the Planetar that has powered Elturel's Companion for half a century, will finally die, transferring the last of his essence to a nearby adventurer: the Druid; the only remaining party member who has not yet been empowered by the essence of a Celestial.
So with only four days to the next session, I'm re-writing the events that I screwed up planning three years ago...

I'm moving the planned Elturel event to the Fortress. Lucky I didn't have this realization next week, AFTER the party had finished exploring that location...
There's something very awkward about preparing for a new campaign while we're still playing out the climax of the current one.

And the rogue thinks everyone is an idiot.
Starting to realise DMing is like:

Doing some last minute prep for session, I order pizza. They always get here faster than I anticipate (~25 min) so I go downstairs after 20, not wanting to leave them hanging at building's front door.
Of course this will be the time it takes them an hour, for no reason at all.
