So I've got GB of #Backup folders from the time back when I was developing #BomberfunTournament. We didn't really use any (working) revisioning system. However, today I would somewhat love to recreate a historical repository including commits so that I can visualize it with #Gource #GameDev

I wanted to see also the full histories of
all branches from my most active projects,
between the months of March 2023 & 2025:

rwx → parent project
lsgm → dynamic grub menu
spcd → ci / cd
srmp → repos mirroring
ftcp → conf profile
cv → responsive resume

I wanted to see how a gource render
would look like with not 1 but many
git repos rejiggered across 8 years…

I had to merge the custom logs after
manipulations for a unique identity,
then tweak gource & ffmpeg settings
to comply with bluesky’s video limits,
but it looks neat!

Sometimes, I like opening my git project with gource. I found it rewarding seeing the project structure taking form. (Eventually it can make badly organized assets appear also).
