Leading by example Are you a leader or a follower? When we think of leadership, the first idea that probably comes to mind is the charismatic type. This leader gives powerful speeches and excels at persuasion. They thrive on the big stage, whether on television or in front of large crowds. But that’s not the only kind. There’s also a quieter, more introspective form.

There's a leader that works best in smaller groups, leading by example instead of by command. That's the kind of leader I believe I am.
