Overall, I dislike what #Apple has done with #macOS26 and #iWork. Translucency isn’t a bad thing in small doses but the whole OS now feels like it’s been bubblewrapped. This works better on iPad or iPhone due to the touch interface, but on the desktop it’s just irritating and unnecessary.
The new #Pages is just about bearable, and adopts the blobby, translucent look of #macOS26. But apart from the paid AI features (which I have no interest in using), there are no other improvements. And now that it’s ‘freemium’, there’s no incentive to upgrade unless you plan to subscribe.
