I attended a workshop lead by Timm Freitas at last year’s #NCTE24 on grammar in the classroom, and it was one of the most inspiring and empowering sessions I’ve ever experienced. I started using what was introduced today in my Lang class and my kids ate it up. #backtobasics to move forward

3️⃣ I went to #NCTE24 which was a goal of mine for so many years as a teacher and an author and met virtual friends IRL and that was an experience I will never forget. My happiness from connections made will last forever. #kidlitchat

I’ve queued it up to listen to soon! I always learn so much from @sarahmzerwin.bsky.social and was glad I got to connect with her for a bit at #NCTE24!

Author Allie Millington, Olivetti first brought us Olivetti which was such a powerful story. This March she will share with the world her second novel, Once for Yes. I grabbed an ARC during #NCTE24 in Boston. I was blown away by the story.

Inspired and energized by the community and camaraderie of #NCTE24, I *finally* finished revisions on a middle grade nonfiction proposal and sent it back to my agent! Time to tackle some new picture book ideas rattling around in my head.
