I like this business. Good market share, high margins and FCF which they have a habit of returning to shareholders.

It’s unusually generous in this day and age. I guess I’ll sell as many as they’ll take and then try to buy them back in the market for less. I certainly want to stay invested in #NIOX.

I didn’t realise it had opened yet as I’ve heard nothing from my investment platform. But I see from the RNS that the offer runs from 25/9 until 14/10.
I still don’t really understand the rationale for this. Why is #NIOX tendering for 26M shares at 80p when it could buy them in the market at 68p?

I bought some #WJG in August when the shares dropped from 50p to 30p in the hope that the fall was overdone but there have been no signs of life at all. Therefore I sold this morning at 27p to invest in #NIOX which seems to have better prospects.

Encouraging update from #NIOX today plus a surprise tender offer to buy back a big chunk of shares at 80p. I’m surprised it’s still trading at around 67-70p and have added to my holding. DYOR.

#NIOX interims a pleasure to read. All metrics are tracking ahead of expectations and IMHO they will beat FY24 FCs. On top of that this:
"Tender offer...for...26.25m shares at 80 pence per share, returning £21.0 million to shareholders if fully taken up."
That's a ~21% premium! Tough call
