I love it: a #nojs solution with graceful degradation and built-in accessibility.

The future is HTML-first: commands, invokers, customizable built-ins etc. Less JavaScript, more web platform!

User interface for filtering cards with animals on them, using a radiobutton to select 'OR' or 'AND', then checkboxes for a number of categories. 'AND', 'Herbivore' and 'Mammal' are checked, to the list shows herbivorous mammals, including an alpaca, camel, cow, and elephant.

been making carousels in Canary all day, #noJS to get free scroll buttons or pagination dots for each snap item.

Screenshot. Shows two headers, each with an images restricted to a shape with rounded corners around a trapezoid-shaped heading whose size depends on the heading text of that particular header. The whole thing is responsive and the concave image-filled shapes have real transparency at the rounded corners/ within their concavities - we can see a patterned background behind.

I’m pretty proud of the #nojs #css only postcard flipping I managed to work out, (with transparent edges & with semantically sane #html!) Though I’ll be damned if I can figure out why Safari decides to do half of the flip in the wrong direction, compared to *every other browser*.
