I also just recently got my Project Babble tracker which should enable me to have natural expressions in VR and in particular more accurate mouth tracking which is going to add a lot of expressiveness ^^

So far the experience is pretty unpolished, but much can […]

I really want to like #projectbabble, I really do. But so far, I have spent like 2-3 hours attempting to get it working. I've unplugged and re-plugged it, I've installed new packages, and old, newer versions of the software and older ones. NOTHING is working!!!

So far, this is a waste.

kinda crazy that this is entirely diy face tracking, you really dont need to spend the money on a headset with it built in anymore.

we are nearly there, just waiting on my leds for my left eye then this is actually finished!

Got full face tracking working on my Hydragea using a PSVR2 and a webcamera strapped to it for Project Babble. It works surprisingly well for cheap. Lol was a bit goofy for the pictures.

I spent several more hours playing around with my #ProjectBabble last night, and it's REALLY impressive how well it works given the price. As far as I can tell the issues are on my end/from the avatars, which is great for hardware this (relatively) cheap. And DIY is cheaper! #VR #VirtualReality

I swear I am NOT becoming an unboxing streamer. However, my #ProjectBabble kit arrived, so we've GOT to test out that to see how well it works! Live now on Twitch, so stop on by and we'll be checking this cool new add-on to my #VR headsets! That's at twitch.tv/ayotocorp!

This week I’ve been working on getting #EyeTrackVR and #ProjectBabble working on my headset using the Phys dude gumstick mod! With any luck, face tracking will be coming to this VRChat addict shortly!
Next step is going to be creating a new frunk part so I can keep the components safe.
