For many years from the late 90s, I earned my crust by programming, and it was all because of The Hobbit.
I got it for my Spectrum in 1983 and thoroughly enjoyed its retelling of the story.
Then it crashed and filled the screen with BASIC commands.
And the penny dropped.

For the first time ever, I have reached 200% in the first Crash Bandicoot game I personally played. Don't ask me how I managed to gain an interest in the series.
In doing so, I also got all the game's #retroachievements! 10/10 would not recommend. For real. Don't play it.
