A conversation in our house this morning
T- How was your run this morning?
Me - Well I felt sick before during and after, but apart from that, it was great!

Managed to get a couple of PBs last Sunday in 5k and 10k.
The whole run felt fast and in control. #runningchat #marathontraining #halfmarathon #running #ukrunchat
First run after coming back from my break. Cleared 10.83 km at an average pace of 5:02 per KM. Shows that after break there is always an improvement. A good reminder of the importance of breaks #runningchat #ukrunning #running
#run #runningchat #runningpain. Well 24 hour on from the Round Sheffield Run, my right ankle and heel has settled a little still painful when walking, not going to try running on it. Think it is possible Plantar Fasciitis. Looks like a physio appointment and some stretching. Any advice appreciated.
Haven’t really provided much of an update on running journey but with May coming to an end thought I would share an update because to be honest I am amazed that with all the rain I managed to get out 26 days covering 27 hrs and 216.9 km. Bring on June #running #blueskyrunning #runningchat
So no PBs for this week but I did clear my target for the week at 43 km. Running isn’t about PBs it is really about the journey and knowing that each morning when you lace up ur shoes you are still about to make that journey. Here is to another week of running #runningchat #runningbluesky #runnig
Was at the strathclyde loch this Sunday taking advantage of the sunny weather. Managed two loops round the loch and set a new PB for the 10k 49:16 pretty good going and the first time I did a sub 50 10k. Fingers crossed for more sun

Map showing route of Sundays long slow run starting in Leith, passing through Portobello Beach to Musselburgh Lagoons and back again. 19.1km in 1hr 45 at an average pace of 5.30min/km
Bar chart showing running pace starting at 6 min per kilometre, finishing at 5.15 min per km at 19 km distance.
First week of #marathon training complete. Upping distance on long run from normal Sunday 10-miler. Negative split on pace to finish feeling strong. #runningchat #running
Also, I absolutely love that but at the end of the race when you feel like you’re everyone’s bestie and you trade finishing times and congratulations 🙌 such a wonderful moment to share with strangers! #run #runningchat #runningrace
